Teré has been making fudge for over 20 years. She came up with her own technique after talking to many people who made fudge. Fudge is her passion—she loves to cook and create fudge and other desserts.
She started out in the 4-h wanting to cook, when she was in grammar school. When she got into high school, she took cooking classes and was an aide for the cooking teacher—she loved it. When she went to college, she took gourmet cooking. It was during this time that she went to work for a baker. He specialized in wedding cakes, danish pastries and donuts. She learned quite a bit working for him while going to college.
All of her friends and family have always told her that she should market her fudge, because it is so good, so she decided to do just that, and that is how she came to start selling her fudge.
